If you would like to example a sample
configuration useful, you might find the
PC-Lint configuration files we use
ourselves to be useful. The zipfile
below contains
std.lnt files for each supported IDE, as
well as the options.lnt
file we use to suppress common issues in
Win32 API and the MFC, ATL and WTL
frameworks.

Licencing Conditions
You should carefully read the

using this software. Unless you have a
different licence agreement signed by an
authorised representative of Riverblade
Limited, your use of this software
indicates your full acceptance of this
license agreement and warranty.
Riverblade Limited, as Licencer,
grants to you, the Licensee, a
non-exclusive license to use this
software program (hereinafter the
"software") in accordance with the terms
contained in this license.
There are three editions of Visual
Lint: Free, Standard and Professional.
By default, the software installs as
Visual Lint Professional Edition,
following you have a 30 day period in
which to evaluate the software. Once
this period elapses you must register it
to continue using the features of the
Standard or Professional Edition, or it
will revert to the functionality of the
Free Edition unless registered. The Free
Edition need not be registered and may
be used freely without restriction.
Note that Visual Lint Standard and
Professional Edition are licenced on a
per user, rather than a per machine
basis.

All title and copyrights in and to
the SOFTWARE, including but not limited
to any images, texts, and sounds
incorporated into the SOFTWARE, are
owned by Riverblade Limited.
Redistribution
You may freely distribute the
installer for this software, provided
that:
- You only distribute the original
Install program of the software.
- You DO NOT charge, or ask for
donations, for this.
- You DO NOT distribute it with
any other product, commercial or
not, without prior written

Visual Lint and its accompanying
files are distributed "as-is", and
without any warranties, either expressed
or implied. We will not accept any
responsibility for any damage caused by
its use (though please inform us of any
such occurrence, and we'll do our best

words, you use Visual Lint at your own

Good data processing procedure
dictates that any program be thoroughly
tested with non-critical data before
relying on it. The user must assume the
